AMovieGuy.com’s 2023 Top 10 & Movie Awards

I can confidently say that 2023 was a banger year for AMovieGuy.com. Things keep going up, with more movie reviews, Hot Seat Interviews, and plenty of exciting movies to see at film festivals to cover. That success is something I am proud to acknowledge and I hope it has brought joy to our readers. It began with coverage at SXSW, including interviews with Evil Dead Rise star Lily Sullivan, Spirit Award Nominee Zoe Lister-Jones, and coverage of multiple world premieres, including John Wick: Chapter 4. The in-between months were stacked, which included coverage of the Chicago Critics Film Festival, an interview with Sterling K. Brown & Mark Duplass, a chat with the legendary Jane Lynch, and I interviewed action superstar Michael Jai White. We closed out the year with a plethora of great moments. The award-season festivals covered were Fantastic Fest and The Chicago International Film Festival. And then there is the long list of major interviews, including Paul Reiser, Joe Lynch, Kristoffer Borgli, Jenn Wexler, Dermot Mulroney, and James Bond himself Mr. Pierce Brosnan. Much like the year of movies, it was a consistent stream of highs that occurred outside of AMG as well, along with the success of my podcast Scene Stealers, appearances on the radio program Driving It Home with Patti Vasquez, more writing on The Spool, contributing to Imbibe Cinema, having our first quote featured on advertisements for the movie Sisu, and so much more. We cap it all off by giving awards to those we thought were the best of 2023 and AMovieGuy.com’s Top-10 movies of the year. So without further ado, here is AMovieGuy.com‘s Top-10 & Movie Awards:
