Olga Kurylenko- Hot Seat Interview- Actor- Other

Olga Kurylenko became a household name when she became the newest “Bond Girl” in Daniel Craig’s Quantum of Solace. That hasn’t stopped the Ukrainian-born actor from proving she’s more than just the love interest for James Bond. In fact, the actress has an impressive resume, filled with performances in Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths, Joseph Kosinski’s Oblivion, and playing a vengeful bad guy in Black Widow. The reality is that Kurylenko is an incredibly impressive presence, often stealing a scene with her fierce commitment to a role. She displays that in her newest film, Other, playing a woman who returns to her childhood home to clean up the past, only to discover that some dark presence is lurking in the night. It’s a very isolated performance, with Kurylenko impressing at every turn. I was lucky to speak with Olga about a variety of things, including getting her start with Quantum of Solace, working with a director like Terrence Malick, and making a horror film like Other.
