Jenn Wexler- Hot Seat Interview- Writer/Director- The Sacrifice Game

Director Jenn Wexler has made a massive leap with her sophomore feature The Sacrifice Game. Not only is it an excellent slice of horror, but it’s also a Christmas movie, one that I think is an instant seasonal classic. Even after her debut feature, The Ranger, it has been clear that Wexler was a great talent, someone who understood exactly what makes good horror. The Sacrifice Game is her best yet and received the audience award at Fantasia. It involves a group of girls at a boarding school who are kidnapped by a gang of murderers over the holidays. Things turn wild fast, along with a delightfully evil performance from Mena Massoud, and superb craftsmanship, making Jenn Wexler a name you will not forget going forward. I sat and talked with Jenn at Fantastic Fest, where we chatted about her growth from one film to the next, working with Massoud, and making a new Christmas classic. Watch it here:
